Letter: South Brunswick Recycling Coordinator Says Goodbye

Nancy Paquette, South Brunswick Recycling Coordinator

To the Editor:

I will be retiring as the Township’s Recycling Coordinator at the end of June after 30 years of service to the residents of South Brunswick.

Since 1983 I have had the honor and privilege to be involved in an industry that went from its infancy to where it is today. I am proud to have been a part of this program that saved natural resources, energy and successfully diverted what used to be waste buried in a landfill into creating new products.

I would like to think that I have been successful in developing a program for our residents that is convenient and cost effective and that I was able to efficiently solve problems. Many people helped to make our program one of the best in New Jersey and I thank each and every one of them. They know who they are!

More than anything I would like to thank the residents and businesses of South Brunswick for doing such a great job recycling and in general for making me look good!  Keep up the great work!
