NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — On Sunday, New Jersey Lt. Governor Tahesha Way paid a visit to the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey.

The lieutenant governor purchased cookies from local Girl Scouts Maya Miller and Aubrey Aumack, members of Troop 80038, and Eleanor Aumack, a member of Troop 120786609, under the troop leadership of Wendy Miller and Betsy Aumack.

Eleanor already sold over 400 boxes this season, beating her personal goal of 300 boxes. She said she intends to use the profits to help pay for her Girl Scout summer camp at Camp Oak Springs.

The visit was done at the Girl Scouts DreamLab, located in North Brunswick.

The DreamLab is a modern 3,500-square-foot space that just opened in September. It is the first of its kind to open on the East Coast. It is open to the community to use for activities such as recording a podcast, conducting a STEM experiment, trying the rock wall, and test camping skills.
