SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Atlanta Falcons' wide receiver and graduate of South Brunswick High School, Mohammed Sanu, will be back in South Brunswick this Thursday evening for a charity kickball game.
The kickball game is this Thursday, June 27 and starts at 6:00 p.m. at Rowland Park. It is open to the public and all are welcome. There will be some other as-of-yet-unnamed NFL players there as well.
As part of the game, Sanu and other NFL pros will face off against a team of "regular joes" made up of local public school teachers, students and South Brunswick community members. In addition, there will be a kickball homerun derby showcasing a few students from each local elementary school.

Sanu is a hometown hero: He grew up in South Brunswick Township and was a star on the Viking playing fields at South Brunswick High before he went to Rutgers, where he was a record-setting wide receiver. From Rutgers, Sanu went on to the NFL. Born in Sayreville, Sanu moved to Sierra Leone as a child before his family ultimately settled in the Dayton section of South Brunswick. His team, the Falcons, went to the Super Bowl in 2017, but lost to the New England Patriots.
In fact, Sanu's jersey number with the Falcons is 12. Sanu wanted 12 because his SBHS Vikings number was 2 and his Rutgers number was 6, making the product of 12.
