Mosquito Spraying Scheduled Friday Evening In South Brunswick

Operations are contingent on favorable weather conditions.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Middlesex County Mosquito Extermination Commission has announced plans to conduct truck-mounted spray operations in South Brunswick on Friday evening to control nuisance mosquitoes and disease-carrying vectors.

The spraying is scheduled between 6 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. The targeted area is bounded by Broadway Road, US-130, and the railroad tracks. A detailed map of the spray zone is available from the commission.

Operations are contingent on favorable weather conditions. If Friday's mission is postponed due to rain or other weather factors, the spray date will be rescheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 9.

The commission will use Zenivex E4 RTU (EPA Registration #2724-807), an approved mosquito control product. Complete product labeling and fact sheets are available for public review.

Residents in the affected area should be aware of the scheduled spraying times and may want to keep windows closed during the operation.
