Pools Around South Brunswick: Where To Swim This Summer

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Summer is just around the corner, and you may be planning now to find activities to keep the kids busy — and cool. An obvious summer favorite pastime is spending those hot afternoons at the local pool.

The state recently issued guidance for pools to follow, so they can safely operate during the coronavirus pandemic.

So where near South Brunswick can you take a dip? We've compiled this guide of local pools to help you and your family stay cool this summer.

Into The Swim: A fun place in Monmouth Junction that provides swim lessons. Apart from private, semi-private, small group, and Baby & Me classes, Into the Swim’s exclusive South Brunswick location will be offering other activities like swim parties, water aerobics, and a competitive pre-team.

Willows Swim Club: Thanks to our readers for this tip. Willows Swim Club is a fun place for family and friends to relax and socialize. This place is a "hidden retreat in the heart of Middlesex County." The Summer 2021 season starts May 29.

Broadmead Swim Club: This is another popular destination for families. The Broadmead Swim Club is affiliated with Princeton University, but membership is open to all. Located on 184 Broadmead Street, the club has lunch tables and lounge chairs. Registration for the 2021 season is now open, but expect a few changes.

Princeton Family YMCA: The Princeton YMCA has a host of Aquatic programs for you to choose from.

Community Park Pool: Yes, this pool is in Princeton and is run by their Department of Recreation. But if you were a non-resident member in 2019, you can apply for membership again this year. CP pool will open Saturday, May 29. The pool will be open on weekends and holidays until Saturday, June 19. After that, it will be open 7-days a week. Early bird registration for pool memberships begins May 3 - 9. Swim lessons registration begins on May 3.
