Retired DEA Agent Talks To South Brunswick Parents Jan. 23

No one ever wants to think of their child using and abusing alcohol and drugs. However, there are signs and symptoms to be aware of.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Parents' Academy will hold their next workshop "Hidden in Plain Sight" next Thursday, January 23 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Crossroads North Middle School.

This workshop will once again be presented by Doug Collier, a retired agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and a professor of criminal justice at Monmouth University.

This hands-on, interactive workshop will provide parents with key information on the latest substance abuse trends, signs and symptoms. Collier will provide attendees with information on how alcohol, drugs and paraphernalia can easily be hidden in plain sight in a teenager’s bedroom, bathroom and other locations in a home or car — often right under the noses of unsuspecting parents or adults.
