Richard Road Water Improvements To Begin April In South Brunswick

The work is expected to continue through early July.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Water improvement work on Richard Road is all set to begin in mid-April in South Brunswick, officials said.

The work is expected to continue through early July.

The Township has contracted MSP Construction Corp. of Flemington for the Richard Road Water Improvements Project.

They will install around 1,900 linear feet of 8-inch cement-lined ductile iron water main, fire hydrants, valves, and approximately 28 water services on Richard Road from Route 1 to the Dead End.

CME Associates will be providing Consulting Engineer services for this project.

“This work is essential to add to the resiliency of the Township’s Water System,” says Brian Fusco, Utilities Supervisor of Water Operations.

This is Phase One of Two of the work planned on Richard Road. After this work is complete, the next project’s work will include drainage, curbing, milling, and paving.
