Road Closure, Council Meeting, Zoning Board: South Brunswick This Week

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Good morning, neighbors. Welcome to another edition of the Monday manual where we tell you what's happening in town this week.

Road Closure

Henderson Road will be closed to traffic between Route 1 and Black Horse Lane, on Monday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The actual closure will be between First Student and Wildwood Court. Royal Oaks should be accessed from Route 1 and First Student should be accessed from Black Horse Lane. Motorists should follow posted detours and directions from traffic controllers.

Council Meeting

The Municipal Council will be meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. Here's the agenda.

Zoning Board

The township's Zoning Board will meet on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. Click here for the agenda.

Traffic Enforcement

To address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement through Dec. 6:

• Fresh Ponds Road: Speeding, distracted driving, and weight limit ordinance violations
• Georges Road: Speeding, distracted driving, and weight limit ordinance violations
