School District, South Brunswick PD Join Forces To Fight Hunger

The police department and high school will support the South Brunswick Food Pantry through a food drive.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - South Brunswick High School and the local police department are teaming up to fight hunger.

Ahead of the holiday season, the police department and high school will support the South Brunswick Food Pantry through a food drive.

During the high school home football game on Friday, at 6 p.m., a police cruiser will be stationed at the stadium entrance, for "Cram the Cruiser."

Community members attending the game can help fill the cruiser with non-perishable food items to support local families in need.

The game will be on until 9 p.m. and will be held at the South Brunswick High School Football Stadium, 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction.

The pantry has seen a growing demand in recent months, and community donations will go a long way in supporting those in need.

  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Canned soups and stews
  • Boxed cereals and oatmeal
