School Supply Drive For South Brunswick Students: How To Get Involved

The township has launched a school supply drive to help local students in need. Here's how to help:

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Officials in South Brunswick are seeking donations of school supplies for local students this upcoming school year.

According to the National Retail Federation, back-to-school spending is expected to reach $41.5 billion, up from $36.9 billion last year and the previous high of $37.1 billion in 2021. For families in need, the annual expense of school supplies will be felt even greater in 2023.

Residents who wish to participate can donate items like pencils, crayons, washable markers, composition books, college-ruled filler paper, pocket folders and more inside backpacks.

Backpacks can be dropped off in person at the Social Services office or ordered online via the Amazon Wishlist.
