1 More Local Veteran To Be Honored With Street Sign Dedication In South Brunswick
Roy E. Menghi, a 96-year-old Korean War veteran, will be recognized with a street sign dedication.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - South Brunswick recently announced another local veteran will be honored this spring as part of the Veterans Recognition Street Naming Initiative.
Roy E. Menghi, a 96-year-old Korean War veteran, will be recognized for his service to the country with a street sign dedication on May 24, at 11 a.m., at the intersection of Kendall Road and Palmer Road.
Menghi’s name was missing from the initial list released by the township.

His name will be added to a secondary street sign on an existing municipal road, joining the four previously announced honorees.
Menghi’s distinguished service during the Korean War exemplifies the bravery and commitment of our nation's veterans.

“The Township is proud to include him in this year’s recognition and to help ensure that his legacy is remembered by future generations,” the township said.
The Township’s ongoing Veterans Street Sign Program seeks to raise public awareness and express gratitude for the sacrifices made by local veterans.
Here's the updated list of all honorees this Spring:
- Murray Tuckman was honored on May 3, at 11a.m. at the intersection of New Road and Wheeler Road.
- Robert L. Kelly will be honored on May 17, 11. a.m., at the intersection of Sand Hills Road and Sand Forest Drive.
- Roy E. Menghi will be honored on May 24, 11. a.m., at the intersection of Kendall Road and Palmer Road.
- Harold George Errickson Jr., Kenneth Everett Errickson, John William Errickson, Russell George Errickson, John William Errickson, and James Harold Errickson will be honored on May 31, 11 .a.m, at the intersection of Georges Road and Culver Road.
- Fred M. Benjamin will be honored on June 14, at 11. a.m, at the intersection of Stanley Avenue and Hazel Court.
Community members are encouraged to attend these ceremonies to show support and appreciation for our local heroes.
