SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - With all 30 districts reporting, incumbent candidates for Council have held their lead in the South Brunswick race.
Meanwhile, in the hotly contested school board race, the incumbents have emerged as front runners in the unofficial results.

Jo Hochman, Archana “Ann” Grover, and Patricia Germain are running on the Democratic ticket for Council. They are being challenged by Republican candidates Michael J Havardansky, Brian Wojaczyk and Steven R. Simon.
With all 30 districts reporting Hochman (11,723 votes), Grover (11,944 votes) and Germain (11,945 votes) were in the lead. Their Republican opponents, Havardansky, Wojaczyk and Simon got 7,100, 7,287 and 6,807 votes respectively.
Here are the latest uncertified election results, as per the Middlesex County Clerk’s Office (check back for updates):
- Jo Hochman – 11,723 (20.60%)
- Ann Grover – 11,944 (20.99%)
- Patricia Germain -11,945 (20.99%)
- Mike Havardansky - 7,100 (12.48%)
- Brian Wojaczyk - 7,287 (12.81%)
- Steven R. Simon - 6,807 (11.96%)
Board of Education
This election cycle, five candidates were vying for three open seats on the school board - Barry Nathanson, Lisa Rodgers, Deepa Karthik, Rajesh Soni and Sujata Raj.
The latest results from the Middlesex County Clerk's Office are as follows (check back for updates):
- Barry Nathanson - 7,209 (18.68%)
- Lisa Rodgers -8,531 (22.10%)
- Deepa Karthik - 7,980 (20.67%)
- Rajesh Soni - 7,473 (19.36%)
- Sujata Raj - 7,175 (18.59%)
All results are unofficial until certified by the NJ Division of Elections.
