South Brunswick Enacts Weight Limit Restriction On Miller Road
The township had requested NJDOT for a 4-ton weight limit restriction on the entire road.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Council recently adopted an ordinance enacting a four-ton weight limit restriction on Miller Road.
This comes after the township submitted a traffic evaluation report to the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) who then conducted an investigation and review.
The township had requested a 4-ton weight limit restriction on the entire length of the road.

Vehicles over the gross vehicle weight (GVWR) are excluded from the streets or parts of streets except for the pick-up and delivery of materials, according to the ordinance.
South Brunswick will install all appropriate measures to advise motorists of the weight restrictions.

This ordinance will become effective 20 days after its final passage and upon approval by the NJDOT.
