South Brunswick Girls' Tennis Player Awarded Scholarship

This standout senior player on the girls' tennis team was given a $1,000 college scholarship from Wilson Sporting Goods.

South Brunswick, NJ - South Brunswick High School senior Prathyusha Pandu was given a $1,000 college scholarship from Wilson Sporting Goods as part of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA).

Pandu plays on the South Brunswick girls' varsity tennis team, coached by John Lolli. The team clinched the GMC tournament title this past fall.

Pandu is one of 217 high school student-athletes across the state honored for their achievements, receiving a total of $172,000 in college scholarships.

Each NJSIAA member high school (South Brunswick is a member) has the opportunity to select one senior student as their scholar-athlete of the year. Those students then attend the scholar-athlete luncheon where, through a random drawing, they had the chance to win a college scholarship from one of multiple sponsors.
