South Brunswick High School Athletic Director Elected to State Position

Elaine McGrath from SBHS is the governing body's next President

The athletic director for South Brunswick High School has been elected as the president of the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) for the 2016-2017 school year.

Elaine McGrath was elected to the position as the next step in a successful career in athletics. Before coming to South Brunswick High, McGrath was the president of the Greater Middlesex Conference, athletic director at Highland Park High School, and the head coach for women's basketball and softball at Rutgers Newark.

“I’m honored to assume the role of president for the NJSIAA this school year,” McGrath said in a press release. “I’m ready to work alongside executive committee members and all others involved with the association for the success of scholastic sports across our state.”
