South Brunswick To Kick Off the New School Year With Cone With A Cop

There will be ice cream and ice pops, music, police vehicle displays, giveaways and more.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – As students prepare to return to classrooms, the South Brunswick Police Department has a sweet treat in store for them.

To kick off the new school year, the police department is hosting “Cone with a Cop” on Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The event will be held in front of the South Brunswick Police Department Headquarters.

There will be free ice cream and ice pops (while supplies last), music, police vehicle displays, giveaways and raffles with prizes to help start off the school year.

Prizes have been provided by local businesses, including Target, Wawa, ShopRite, and Stop & Shop. Students can meet and interact with officers and school resource officers in a relaxed environment.
