South Brunswick PAL Pee Wee Football Keeps Rolling
Vikings dominate Manalapan 38-7 to start off season 3-0.
The South Brunswick PAL Pee Wee football team continued its winning ways on Sunday, defeating the Manasquan Blue Warriors by a final score of 38-7. It was the Pee Wee's third straight win to start the season.
The Vikings took the opening kickoff on their own 40, and needed only four plays to start the scoring. The 60-yard drive included carries by QB Matthew D'Angilillio and Jahmiq Johnson, and was capped off by a 40-yard run from Jason Briggs.
Manasquan threatened on their first possession of the game, taking the ball down to the Vikings 14-yard line, when Briggs intercepted a pass and returned the ball 90 yards for the game's second touchdown. That was all the scoring the Vikings would need, but the offense went back to work on the next possession.
