South Brunswick PD Offers Free Car Seat Safety Checks This May

The initiative promotes child passenger safety through free car seat inspections and installations.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Police Department will be hosting car seat safety clinics this May.

The events are part of the 2025 Middlesex County Sheriff’s Car Seat Inspection Program Municipal Outreach.

The initiative promotes child passenger safety through free car seat inspections and installations by certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians.

The program will be held at the South Brunswick High School – Stouts Lane Parking Lot, 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction.

Saturday, May 3 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Wednesday, May 7 | 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 14 | 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 17 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

No appointment necessary and walk-ins are welcome.

Certified technicians will be on-site to ensure the child’s car seat is installed correctly and to educate families on NJ’s child passenger safety laws and guidelines.
