SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka announced Monday that police had recently linked evidence recovered 13 years ago to a suspect and were now looking for him.

On Feb. 1, 2012 a Rocky Hill Road home was broken into and numerous items stolen. Sgt. Ken Herman, who was a detective at the time, responded to the scene and conducted a detailed crime scene search.

Herman recovered numerous pieces of evidence from the scene. The evidence was submitted to the New Jersey State Police for examination. In January of 2025, one of those pieces of evidence came back a match for Dale Scott, 52, Hayducka said.
