South Brunswick Police To Host 1st Bike Rodeo In April

The event designed to promote bicycle safety and awareness for children and families.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Bring out your bikes, helmets, skates, and join officers from the South Brunswick Police Department for a day of fun.

The South Brunswick Police Department, in partnership with Keep Middlesex Moving (KMM), will host their 1st Annual Bike Rodeo—a fun and educational event designed to promote bicycle safety and awareness for children and families.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (weather permitting), at the South Brunswick Senior Center (Side Lot & Auditorium A).

Attendees can expect hands-on training on safe riding skills, hand signals, and navigating traffic situations. KMM will coordinate the course with assistance from South Brunswick Police Bicycle Unit Officers. They will also learn the importance of proper helmet use and bike safety. During the event, KMM will host an engaging bike safety session inside Auditorium A.

But that’s not all - Officer James Kraivec will keep the energy up as DJ for the event! So, bring your bikes, scooters, skates, and helmets and join the fun. Pre-registration is recommended, and a parent/guardian waiver form is required. See the attached flyer for the QR code to register and access the waiver form.
