The initiative is to support local families facing food insecurity.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Police Department will host its "Cram the Cruiser" food drive on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The event is held to support the South Brunswick Food Pantry.

Community members are invited to help fill a police cruiser with non-perishable food donations that will go directly to local families facing food insecurity.

The initiative comes as the food pantry experiences growing demand and works to maintain adequate supplies heading into the holiday season.
