South Brunswick Police Announces 2025 Youth Police Academy

All applications must be submitted by May 15

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick Police Department has announced that applications are now open for the 2025 Youth Police Academy.

The academy will be held at the South Brunswick Police Department, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction

Students entering 6th grade in September 2025 are eligible to apply. The police department will be hosting two sessions of the academy - the first from July 7-11, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the second from July 21-25, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Here's what to expect at the academy:

  • Hands-on crime scene investigations
  • Arrest procedures & motor vehicle stops
  • Fire safety & basic first aid
  • Police-issued uniform (t-shirt, shorts, and hat)
  • Daily activities and group exercises
  • Pizza lunch on Friday
  • Graduation ceremony

All applications must be submitted by May 15, to the South Brunswick Township Police Department, Community Policing Division.
