South Brunswick to Resume Veteran Street Sign Naming This Spring
Eligible candidates for this honor include honorably discharged Veterans from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and the Coast Guard.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — South Brunswick is all set to resume the veteran street sign naming ceremonies.
This Spring, the Township will recognize four local veterans for their service through the Veterans Recognition Street Naming Initiative.
South Brunswick’s Veteran Street Sign Program allows Township residents who were Wartime Veterans to be recognized by adding their name on a secondary street sign to an existing Municipal Road.

“By adding names of local Wartime Veterans to public street signs, we hope to promote public awareness of these individuals and show our appreciation for their outstanding contributions and service to our Country as a member of the United States Armed Forces,” township officials said.
Eligible military candidates for this honor include honorably discharged Veterans having served in Military Departments as defined under Department of Defense which include Departments of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and the Coast Guard.

Wartime Veterans are individuals who served in the active military forces, during a period of armed conflict or who received the armed forces expeditionary or other campaign service medals during an emergency condition, including those who died in the line of duty in the active military forces.
Here’s who’ll be honored this spring:
- Murray Tuckman will be honored on May 3, at 11 a.m., at the intersection of New Road and Wheeler Road.
- Robert L. Kelly will be honored on May 17, at 11 a.m., at the intersection of Sand Hills Road and Sand Forest Drive.
- Harold George Errickson Jr., Kenneth Everett Errickson, John William Errickson, Russell George Errickson, John William Errickson, and James Harold Errickson will be honored on May 31, at 11 a.m., at the intersection of Georges Road and Culver Road.
- Fred M Benjamin will be honored on June 14 at 11 a.m., at the intersection of Stanley Avenue and Hazel Court.
