SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Weather-related speed restrictions on the NJ Turnpike have prompted commuting delays Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 6:26 a.m., there’s a weather-related speed restriction on the New Jersey Turnpike in both directions from North of Interchange 8A - NJ 32 in South Brunswick to south of Interchange 11 - Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Speeds are capped at 35 miles per hour until further notice due to roadway conditions for plowing operations, the agency said.
