Stop & Shop To Close Dayton, South Brunswick Location In February

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Stop & Shop is all set to shutter its Dayton location next month. The company said it has decided not to renew the store's lease.

“After a detailed review of the operating performance of our stores, we have made the difficult decision to not renew our lease at our store located at 24 Summerfield Blvd in Dayton, NJ. All store and pharmacy associates will have the opportunity to transfer to other area Stop & Shop locations,” a Stop & Shop spokesperson told Patch.

The store will close on Feb. 24.

Stop & Shop operates more than 400 stores across New York, New Jersey, and New England. They have 60,0000 "dedicated associates," according to their website.
