Mercer Teen Killed In Crash

A Mercer County teen died Friday in a crash on a snow-covered road northwest of State College, Pennsylvania, according to a report. Zy'yonnah A. Dully, of Ewing, died in the crash around 11 a.m. in Huston Township.

Dully's vehicle slid into the opposing lane and hit a 2011 Peterbilt truck.

2 Boys Injured In South Jersey Shooting

Two boys were shot and wounded Saturday night in Mount Laurel, according to authorities.

Officers found a gunshot victim at a hotel with a wound to the abdomen. The other boy involved was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital, police said.

Pedestrian Killed In Teaneck Hit-&-Run

A pedestrian was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run crash in Bergen County, according to media reports.

Police received several 911 calls around 7 p.m., telling them about a pedestrian lying in the road on Cedar Lane near Lincoln Place, News12 said.

According to initial investigation, the person was hit by a vehicle that then fled the scene, NJ.com reported.

The person was taken to Holy Name Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Transformer Fire Displaces Residents In Newark

A transformer fire at a senior housing complex building on Saturday night displaced several residents, according to media reports.

The incident happened around 5 p.m. on Saturday at 920 Franklin Avenue. All residents were evacuated with two adults evaluated at the scene and another hospitalized, News12 reported.

A total of 69 families were impacted and needed temporary relocation. Eight residents accepted assistance from the American Red Cross, RLS Media said.

Veteran Crossing Guard Injured In Hit-&-Run

A veteran crossing guard from Trenton was hospitalized after she was injured in a hit-and-run, according to media reports.

75-year-old Priscilla Hollice suffered broken bones on Thursday and had to undergo surgery, 6ABC reported.

Police said a BMW SUV struck Hollice when she was working at the intersection of Stuyvesant and Exton avenues near Gregory Elementary School.

A reward of $1,000 has been offered for information. Trenton Police are investigating.
