Temporary Changes Coming, As South Brunswick Library Updates System
The library will be switching to a new system and during that time, some services will be interrupted.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Public Library will soon be changing to a new and improved computer system.
During the switchover, residents will experience some service interruption as the library moves to the Polaris system
Beginning June 4 through June 12, users must have a Library card to check out materials.

Also during this period, new cards will not be issued, material can’t be returned, and holds cannot be placed.
Users need to bring their Library card when they visit the Library or Mobile Branch. Another option is to scan the barcode into their phone or take a picture of their card’s barcode.

Those to need to apply for a new card at the Library or Mobile Branch need to do so before June 4 if they have lost their card or don’t currently have one.
Borrowers should hold off returning items during this time period. Due dates will be extended until June 20.
However, digital content will not be impacted for existing users during this transition.
Service is expected to be fully restored on June 13 when library staff will introduce Polaris to residents.
