These Hardware Stores Are Open On Labor Day In South Brunswick

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Whether it’s preparing for the start of a fall project or wrapping up a summer one, Labor Day weekend in South Brunswick is sure to be a popular time to get some stuff done around the house.

Many home improvement and hardware stores in and around South Brunswick know this, as nearly all will be open for either regular or extended hours during the end-of-summer three-day weekend.

Home Depot stores will be open, encouraging homeowners to take on backyard projects before temperatures start dropping. The Atlanta-based national home improvement store chain has sales posted on its website and offers tips on starting do-it-yourself fall projects. (Summer doesn’t actually end until Sept. 22).

Hardware stores aren’t the only ones largely staying open over Labor Day weekend. Grocery stores, with Costco among the rare exceptions, will be open on the Monday holiday, too, a breakdown from Reader’s Digest shows.
