Today: 9/11 Ceremony, the Return of Summer Weather

Goings on Tuesday in South Brunswick.

South Brunswick will recognize the tragic terror attacks of 12 years ago on Sept. 11 this evening with a special ceremony at the beginning of tonight's Township Council meeting.

Three South Brunswick residents were lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center, which prompted the construction of the 9/11 memorial fountain outside the Municipal Building on Ridge Road.

Here's a quick look at what's going on in South Brunswick today.

1. Today's forecast brings a return to summer weather with partly cloudy skies and a high of 87 degrees and a 10 percent chance of rain.

2. South Brunswick will remember four residents killed on 9/11 at tonight's council meeting. Lost in the attacks were Jeffrey Robinson, 38, of Monmouth Junction, Kenneth Ledee, 38, of Monmouth Junction, and Toyena Skinner, 27, of Kingston. A fourth man with local ties who was killed on 9/11, Mukul Agarwala, 37, graduated from South Brunswick High School, but was living in New York City at the time of his death.
