Traffic Enforcement & Road Closures In South Brunswick

Roads in the southern part of Kendall Park will be affected by construction work. See details:

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — In response to a statewide rise in serious motor vehicle crashes, the South Brunswick Police Department has begun a series of enforcement details to keep roads safe.

To address traffic safety concerns, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details through Jan. 10:

  • West Side - Promenade Boulevard: Speeding, distracted driving, and failure to stop for pedestrians within crosswalks
  • East Side - Deans Rhode Hall Road: Speeding, distracted driving, and failure to maintain lane.

Meanwhile, roads in the southern part of Kendall Park will be affected by construction work. Residents can expect traffic delays on the following roads in the next two weeks:

  • Stockton Road
  • Berwick Road
  • Dawson Road
  • Savage Road
  • Pyne Road
  • Russet Road
  • Waller Court
  • Stillwell Road
  • Woodbine Road

PSE&G is conducting the Kendall Park Gas Line Replacement Project which involves the replacement of the natural gas infrastructure throughout much of Kendall Park over the course of 16 to 18 months.

Multiple crews are working daily, and a concerted effort will be made to reduce the impact of closed roadways and detours on vehicular traffic. When the replacement project is complete, the roadways will be milled, paved, and striped.
