Honoring Our Veterans in South Brunswick
Ceremony to be held at South Brunswick Municipal Building on Nov. 11.

South Brunswick will take time to honor the sacrifices of the men and women of our Armed Forces with two special ceremonies.
On Sunday, St Cecilia’s will host an 8:30 a.m. Mass that will especially recognize our veterans. Following the service, there will be a "Massing of the Colors" in the parish hall and a breakfast hosted by the Knights of Columbus.
On Veterans Day itself, there will be an observance ceremony at the monument in front of the South Brunswick Municipal Building at 540 Ridge Road in South Brunswick, on Nov. 11, at 11 a.m.

Invited speakers include Mayor Frank Gambatese and state Sen. Christopher “Kip” Bateman. Rev. John Maltby and Rabbi Mendy Carlebach will offer prayers; the South Brunswick High School Viking Band with Mark and Virginia Kraft will provide the music.
Veterans from VFW Post 9111 and American Legion Post 401 will present ceremonial wreathes in honor and memory of veterans of all branches of the service.

Refreshments will be served following the ceremony by the host organization, VFW Post 9111, Henderson Rd. Kendall Park.
While municipal offices will be closed, there will be no interruption in garbage pickup.
