Water Main Break Creates 10-Foot Sinkhole In South Brunswick

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Two water main breaks were reported in South Brunswick on Monday.

One of the water main breaks, on Route 522 near Stouts Lane, has created a 10-foot sinkhole. All eastbound traffic was closed as crews worked to repair, the police department said.

The second water main break was reported on Rt 1 North by Dow Jones. The shoulder of the highway was closed.
