Wawa To Celebrate Opening Of North Brunswick Store On Thursday
To celebrate the opening of the store, Wawa will make charitable contributions and recognize local heroes.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Popular convenience store Wawa is all set to celebrate the grand opening of its new store in North Brunswick on Thursday.
The North Brunswick store is among Wawa’s nine new locations across the Garden State. To celebrate the opening, the company has organized a ribbon-cutting featuring local officials, police and fire personnel, and community members.
Members from the North Brunswick Police Department and volunteer fire company will be present at the grand opening. Wawa will donate hoagies and present a check to the police and fire department’s charity of choice.

The event will also feature special giveaways. The first 100 people through the door at 8 a.m. will receive limited edition Wawa t-shirts.
“At Wawa, our core purpose is to go beyond filling orders to fulfill lives, every day, and that has never been stronger than it is now as we embark on a new year full of new growth, new jobs, and an enhancement of the way we deliver the Wawa experience through what we call, ‘Boundless Convenience,” Chris Gheysens, President & CEO, Wawa said in a media statement.

Wawa’s new store in North Brunswick will offer curbside pick-up, mobile ordering, and delivery. Customers can expect an all-new menu including Wawa’s new burger which officially launched across 900 stores in February, Heat and East Meals, Kids Meals, and more. The company will also be celebrating the opening of its new store in Edison on Thursday.
Wawa currently has over 260 convenience stores in the state. The company employs over 35,000 associates and is headquartered in Wawa, Pennsylvania.
