Weekend to Bring Sunny Skies, Chess Club Friday in South Brunswick
Goings on in town as we head into the weekend.
The clouds look to be moving out as we begin a weekend filled with sunshine today.
Elsewhere in town, chess and checkers lovers should head over to the South Brunswick library today for a new adult program for fans of the game. Here's what else you need to know today.
1. Today's forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 52 degrees. Overnight the temperature will drop to a chilly 30 degrees. Saturday will bring partly sunny skies with a high of 50 degrees, while Sunday will bring more sun with a high of 58 degrees.
2. The South Brunswick Public Library will host Adult Chess and Checkers today at 2 p.m. in the library's Grover's Mill Cafe. The event is free; chess and checker sets will be available. No registration necessary.
