Columbia High Marks 15 Years of Student-Led Science

The science fair is organized by students for students

Columbia High School's young scientists marked 15 years of student-led science.  The annual science fair is run for students by students, and was marked by a broad variety of research projects. From a spirograph to a Rube Goldberg device designed to crack peanuts, from a study of lacrosse moves to the impact of color on food choices, students pondered the possibilities of science.

Victoria Schafer and Isabel Gibson were the student leaders of the fair this year.  Judges included Bob Wilkening, Jerry Ryan, Janna Zimmerman, Jim Buchanan, Karen Richardson, Tom Richardson, Kerry Tilden, Larry Seltzer, Laura Verhoff, and Sue Profeta.

Congratulations to the winners!
