OLS Shoots and Scores at the Prudential Center

OLS Boys Rock the Prudential Center at a recent SHU-UConn game

On a recent Saturday, the third and fourth grade boys basketball team from Our Lady of Sorrows School played the Prudential Center. Almost 200 members of the OLS Community, including the entire 25 members of the cheerleading squad, came out to cheer the boys on  for an exhibition halftime game during the Seton Hall/University of Connecticut game.

Despite the near sell-out crowd, the boys put on an impressive exhibition of their shooting, passing and defensive skills. Fans in the Prudential Center took notice, as one commented after the 61-59 Pirates loss: "We should have subbed in some of those kids from Our Lady of Sorrows that played at halftime . . . they put up more quality shots and played better defense."
