• South Orange-Maplewood BOE Honors Departing Members (tapinto.net) — South Orange and Maplewood residents are saying goodbye to three influential Board of Education members as the SOMA school board wrapped up its final 2025 meeting with tributes and student performances. Departing members Bill Gifford, Regina Eckert, and President Nubia Duvall-Wilson were honored for work on teacher morale, student transportation, Ritzer Field, and academic and equity initiatives that will shape the district going into 2026.
