Pet of the Week: Tootsie

Ruff ruff! Hello! My name is Tootsie! The nice humans thought I should have cute name to match my cute face. All I know is, my super cute face would love a home of my own!

Let me tell you why I'd make a great addition to your family. I'm just as sweet as can be! I really am! I love people, all people, even the little kiddies! I'm a mild mannered, calm and mellow gal. I walk beautifully on the leash right next to my human, and I will very happily stop to take a break for some belly rubs. I love having my belly rubbed! I love any affection! I'm a perfect size, too! Not too big, not too small... Ok, I may need to lose a few pounds, which I'm sure will happen when you take me home!

I love to play with toys too, I really like the kind that are plush. Maybe you could buy me one? While I don't really understand the point of a bath, I'll let you give me one without a problem! Really, I have such an easy going and sweet temperament.

If you take me home I'll give you endless love and cuddles. The humans here at the shelter say I'm such a great doggie, why don't you come see for yourself? Just the other day I went for a nice walk with another mellow doggie, he and I really seemed to hit it off, at the end of our walk we just hung out in the grass laying close to one another. If you have a dog, bring him to meet me, I'd love to go for a walk with him too!
