Police Blotter: Clark Street Burglary; Damage to Car

A look at recent police activity

A Clark Street resident reported someone entered her home through a first floor porch window between 6 p.m. on Feb. 3  and 7 a.m. on Feb. 4.

Two Mac notebook computers and some jewelry were taken from the kitchen area.

William Brummell, 27, of South Orange was arrested on Feb. 4 at approximately 2:30 a.m. for drunken driving, when a police officer saw his car hit a parked vehicle.

Sunday, a Millington resident reported someone had broken into her car. She had parked it on South Orange Avenue.

An hour later when she returned, she discovered that someone had broken her front passenger door with an unknown pry tool.

No items were removed from the car.

A South Orange resident reported someone had stolen a GPS from her car between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. The car was parked on a driveway on Second Street.

There was no sign of a forced entry.
