Road Closures Begin Aug. 19 For Paving Project
Paving work will begin Aug. 19 and result in road closures in and around the area.
From the Village of South Orange: Paving work impacting Woodland Crescent, South Orange parking Lot, Kilburn Place and Lindsey Avenue will begin Aug. 19. Work will be done between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and, weather permitting, should not take longer than two to three days.
During the paving phase, driveway access will be limited. Cars must be relocated to adjacent streets before 8 a.m. Access to driveways will not be allowed until after 6 p.m. The asphalt needs time to cure and cannot be driven on for about an hour after rolled and compacted.
