South Orange Schedules New Business Ribbon Cuttings
Businesses in town open, re-open, celebrate

South Orange will celebrate business on April 27, as a number of ribbon-cutting ceremonies are scheduled. Festivities will begin around noon, more specific times to come.
The businesses celebrating include:
Walia Restaurant, 11 Village Plaza. Kadra Said and Getachew Zerihun are the new owners of this Ethiopian restaurant.
Indulgence Day Spa, 61 South Orange Avenue. Joye Foust and co-owner Patrice Hairston offer massage, facials, manicures and pedicures. They carry products such as “Butter” nail polish from London.
Exxon: 68 West South Orange Avenue. Garabet "Gary" Diratsaoglu is the new owner of the newly-renovated gas station.

CMB Kicks: 77 South Orange Avenue. CMB stands for “collaboration of Michael and Brett”," which means co-owners Brett Ermeus and Michael Gillard. They will have footwear for the whole family with an urban vibe. They built their business as an e-commerce business first selling collectible sneakers on line.
Splurge: 251 Irvington Avenue. Mitchell and Barbara Burgess serve sandwiches, wraps, burgers, coffee, tea, chips, soda, candy at their corner of Riggs and Irvington.
