Stop & Shop Shrimp Shoplifted By South Orange Man: Police

Patrice Golden was also wanted by East Orange authorities, police said.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - A 26-year-old South Orange man was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to take frozen shrimp from Stop & Shop without making payment, according to the South Orange Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrice Golden was arrested for shoplifting after he was observed by security exit the store with five bags of frozen shrimp. Security was able to detain Golden until South Orange Police arrived and it was discovered that Golden also had an active warrant out of East Orange Court, police said.

Golden was issued a summons for shoplifting and turned over to East Orange Police Department, police said.
