Week in Review: An Arraignment, Food Pantry, and Trustees

A look back at the week in South Orange

We saw the debut of "About Town" this week, a column that keeps us all up to date on the news bits and blurbs that keep it interesting. We also visited the Community Garden as the season ends, and learned about the architecture of local churches.

We posted a list of local places to donate that keep goods and profits close to home, and also looked at the where shelves are bare.

Wednesday saw the arraignment of Marcus Bascus, the second suspect in the shooting death Seton Hall University sophomore Jessica Moore. Bascus pleaded not guilty.

The Trustees met on Wednesday, a change from the usual Monday meeting, due to Columbus Day. They covered a good bit of ground, described here.
