The Libraries of Union County Consortium wish to "check out" hunger with food drive, featuring Springfield Public Library
SPRINGFIELD, NJ -- The Springfield Public Library has joined the fight to end hunger. According to TAPinto.net the Libraries of Union County Consortium (LUCC) are holding a food drive in Union County libraries, wishing to help "check out" hunger for the holidays. They will be collecting non-perishable food items from Nov. 27 until Dec. 18 with proceeds going to the New Jersey Community FoodBank as well as local food pantries.
