Throughout the month, the Springfield Library's Donald Palmer Museum displays the painting series by Rosalind Dorlen titled “The Front Porch," alongside Mary Kooi's “The Art of Mary Kooi."
While the Dayton Boys Basketball team plays an away game against Summit, the Girls' squad takes on New Providence at home. Both games are at 7 p.m.

The library hosts the musical theater performance Circle of Friends: An American Girl Doll Musical at 7 p.m. The play concerns seven girls throwing a surprise sleepover birthday party for their best friend Laura; audience members are encouraged to bring American Girl dolls.
Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael holds its weekly get-together for new moms and mothers of newborns.
The Dayton boys varsity basketball team takes on Roselle Park in a 7 p.m. home game.
Friday
While the Dayton girls varsity basketball team faces Governor Livingston in an away game, the boys varsity team takes on Oratory Prep at home. Both games start at 7 p.m.
Chabad of Union County hosts a “Caffeine for the Soul” discussion on the Torah's lessons for family life at Barnes & Noble on Route 22.
