Man With Toy Gun Causes Lock Down At Teaneck High School: Police
Someone spotted the man with the toy gun and called police.

TEANECK, NJ — Teaneck High School was locked down Friday afternoon and police were called to the campus on a report of man with a gun outside the school, authorities said.
The all-clear was given at about 1:45 p.m. and all students and staff were safe, said Terry Corallo, supervisor of community relations for the Teaneck school district.
Teaneck Deputy Police Chief John Faggello said police received a report of a man with a gun outside of the school Friday afternoon.

Initial reports from police described the weapon as a "Super Soaker-type" gun, Chief Glenn O'Reilly told NorthJersey.com.

Administrators placed the school on lock down and sent all available units to the school.
Police found a man outside of the northeast side of the school was identified, Faggello said. The man was returning home from work andhad a toy gun on him, he said.
Police notified officials and the lockdd down was lifted, Faggello said.
Students will be dismissed from the school at the normal time, Faggello said.
