UPDATE: Cable Failure Knocks Out Power to 1200 in Bergen County

Power has been restored to about 1,200 Public Service Electric and Gas customers in Teaneck after an underground cable problem knocked power in the area, a company spokesperson said.

Customers were out for about an hour, said Denise Denk of PSE&G. Outages were also reported in nearby towns including Bergenfield, Hackensack and New Milford.
