Summer Concert Series Planned in Votee Park

The following information was provided by the township: 

The concert is scheduled for July 11 from 8 to 10:30 p.m. 

Sit back and relax - the Teaneck Community Band is ready for its 68th season of free concerts at Votee Park! The Band, which consists of over 100 volunteer musicians from the Teaneck area, will present five concerts for your listening pleasure. The programs include a wide variety of music including classical, pop, Broadway and movie music, and traditional marches. We hope that you and your family will join us!

In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to Thomas Jefferson Middle School at 655 Teaneck Road. 

The solist for this concert will be Kyle Kubicki on the piano. Mr. Kubicki just completed his sophomore year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he is a Music Education major. As a member of both piano and saxophone studios at the University, he has performed withs everal ensembles including the Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Saxophone Quartets, Piano Trios, and the world-reknowned University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band.
