One person was taken to the hospital after the SUV they were in struck a tree then hit a house on Edgewood Avenue Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The driver was apparently trying to make a u-turn, but didn’t realize the car was in drive when the single-vehicle crash occurred, police said. The Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps brought a back seat passenger to be checked at for complaints of pain.
The driver and another passenger declined medical attention, authorities said.
