Teaneck Inventor Talks Lessons Learned from Silent Heart Attack Call [Video]

An emergency medical services crew chief with the Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Teaneck resident delivered a talk on his experience and lessons learned from treating a silent heart attack patient.

Benji Strauss is working to create a less cumbersome implantable cardioverter defibrillator. In the video above, Strauss discusses the importance of communication as part of a TEDx lecture.

“TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group,” the TEDx video explains.
